But Let’s start with the Impossible, and why I wrote this post.

I watched “The Impossible” at the movie theatre years ago, and I remember crying throughout. It was exceptionally well-made, and realistic, and the acting was fantastic.

Naomi Watts even received an Oscar nomination. I had high expectations because I’m a fan of Spanish cinema, and most of the crew is from Spanish, including its director, except for the cast. This was also Tom Holland‘s first major film and his outstanding performance catapulted him to stardom.

Fast forward to now, my partner had never seen the movie. We were searching for a good tsunami film after attempting to watch a slow Japanese show about the tsunami and nuclear accident.

I found “The Impossible” on Netflix, and we rewatched it. Even after all these years, I found myself sobbing once again. What an incredible movie!
